Shirt: Lululemon // Sports Bra: VS (Similar) // Leggings: Lululemon // Shoes : ALDO// Watch: Apple Watch
Today I would like to share with you guys some of my workout goals for this year & some of the rules I have to stick by to succeed. First lets talk about how CUTE these tennis shoes from ALDO are. They come in many different colors and are under $80!! I love them so much and I hope to get them in other colors as well.
This past year was super BUSY for me & at some point I lost track in keeping up with my fitness which was super BAD & unusual of me. I don’t know about you but when I don’t workout & eat junk food I feel terrible. I was constantly contemplating on what I could be or what I should be doing instead of ACTUALLY doing it. But this time I am driven to succeed and get back on track.. that is once I fully get over this sickness of mine.
A few rules to abide by:
Stay Motivated
-One of my motivations is obviously cute workout clothes duh. Some advice of mine is set your goals & once you achieve those goals reward yourself with something but in my opinion do not reward yourself with junk food ( My friend David who is a personal trainer told me this). It could be clothes, a new water bottle, book, etc.
Stop Procrastinating
-I can’t tell you how many times I have done this. STOP doing this & make time. Making time is something I need to work on myself with such a busy schedule & work on top of that. Sometimes I just feel like I don’t have the energy to but once you do you will feel so much better about your body & yourself.
Just Do It
-Get out there & workout! Freshman year of college believe it or not I was super fit. I was dead set on not getting the “Freshman 15”. I worked out Monday-Saturday. I constantly went to yoga (which is very good for stress) and barre classes that were being offered at the gym. Running was my new best friend. I had lost 15-20 pounds just by taking care of myself and eating healthy. I started burning almost 1000 calories per class when I started kickboxing at the beginning of last year. It is INTENSE let me tell you but once you walk out you feel GREAT! It just takes commitment & you believing in yourself. Once you get into a workout routine its hard to stop. You have to start somewhere so start now.
So with that being said I am going to take my own advice and start a new fitness journey this year.
