Happy Hump Day Folks!

     The fall foliage has been so pretty lately around town. I just had to get a picture with all the leaves (typical blogger for fall) .Thanksgiving is only a couple weeks away and that means eating all the food we can! lol I don’t know about you but I am so ready for some turkey.This year I will be spending it on the coast with Justin’s fam. Of course I’ll miss my family but I’m super excited for a change for this year!

     Anyways, I wanted to get on and share with you guys some of my favorite pieces you can style for Thanksgiving Day and wear to your LIVING ROOM. HAHAH y’all there is a meme I saw on Instagram basically saying ” All you ladies get dressed up to hangout in your living room on Thanksgiving”. YUP, I am guilty and I know many of you feel the same. The sweater I am wearing above came from a little boutique called MIRA MIRA in Columbus, MS. They have the CUTEST fall clothes and some of the stripes are made out of chenille material. If you have been following along my Instagram you know that chenille is my favorite this fall. Super cozy, soft, & warm, I am just obsessed. Give me all the chenille! Below you will find some pieces I think will look super cute on anyone this Thanksgiving!

  1. Faux suede mini skirt – pair this with some over-the-knee boots or booties this fall and you will be styling & profiling, under $20
  2. Double pom-pom beanie – ya’ll when I tell you this is my favorite beanie I mean it. They come in so many different colors are just so fun to wear, under $17
  3. Coin necklace – this necklace has been all over every bloggers page & just for you I have found a very affordable option. This looks perfect with off-the-shoulder sweaters and a cute lace bralette
  4. Chenille turtleneck – this babe is in my cart right now and I believe it’s under $20!
  5. Lace-up cami – probably the most comfortable & popular cami off of Nordstrom’s website, pair it with the cardigan below for a cute fall look! (comes in many colors)
  6. Cardigan – LOVE this cardigan, especially the color, gives me all the Thanksgiving vibes, only $20
  7. Over-the-knee boots – these are a MUST this season, they go so well with jeans and a tunic sweater or with a skirt and cropped sweater, under $100
  8. Cream turtleneck – my go-to color of fall, you can’t go wrong with a cream sweater, only $19
  9. Faux shearling-trim boots – ya’ll these are almost IDENTICAL to the Ugg ones & they are under $35
  10. Free People jeans – wear these all the time, definitely one of my favorite purchases under $80
  11. Distressed sweater – love the color of this one, I own a couple other colors but this one is perfect for Thanksgiving, $23

Say Hello to Duster Coat Season

Say hello to all the duster coats! Happy Monday to you all ( wish I could say it was Friday). Anyone else agree? This weekend of mine consisted nothing but working, eating, and sleeping. But I did manage to get a few orange theory sessions in my schedule which can make ya feel a to better or super sore. In my case, I was super SORE haha. I will say though it is SO addicting that I am going today and have already scheduled my classes for the week.

Now let’s get to today’s outfit. I was streaming through Pinterest one day and I found a look similar to this by Kourtney Kardashian that I FELL IN LOVE WITH. You guys, this new duster coat trend has become my obsession. I have found so many different styles and colors online that I just want them all! Good Evening Ladies!

Monday is already kicking my butt with loads of homework and everyday tasks. I think I am going to devote my time tomorrow and try to get everything done for the week ( we will see ). Anyways, Justin & I just got back from ATL for the weekend. I haven’t been since I was a little kid because I use to have all-star cheer competitions there! It was a GREAT weekend getaway … the only thing bad about it was the traffic haha. If I had to choose a big city to live in the south that would probably be one of my top choices. We shopped and had a fun Saturday night at the Christ Stapleton concert. I will definitely have a travel diary up about Atlanta soon because we ate at soooo many good places and they had a variety of shopping areas. I wish we could’ve stayed a few more days.. but until next time!

Trendy Tuesday: Smocked Top Edition

Good evening babes!

I wanted to get the chance to tell you guys I am starting a blog series about trendy items this season. I plan to write one every week about the up-to-date trends on clothing, accessories, etc. So basically if you see a post with the title “Trendy Tuesday: ….” then that’s part of the blog series. I figured I would switch it up a bit for ya’ll every Tuesday from now on!

Everything smocked has been popping up back in stores. Yes girls the TREND IS BACK. I can’t help but finding myself mesmerized of all of the tops, skirts, and dresses that are smocked. I just love how stretchy the material is and the way it fits. This weeks “Stay Trendy” item is this gorgeous smocked off-the-shoulder peplum top. I am wearing a size medium and it is only $17 at checkout. It comes in two different colors along with a few other patterns on Old Navy’s website. Click the link above to check it out!
