Our Stay at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Resort

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to have a weekend stay at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort. After traveling to Disney so many times, I honestly can’t believe we’ve never stayed there and it’s super affordable for everything you get on site. If you’re not familiar with the resort, there are two sides facing each other, one is the Swan side & the other Dolphin. They are located near Epcot and Hollywood studios. In between the two resorts lie a walkway with lined palm trees giving you the full “Florida” feel. We stayed on the dolphin side of the resort and had a fabulous experience.

When we arrived Friday and checked into our room we were ready to explore the hotel and grab a bite to eat for dinner. The Boardwalk ended up being right next to our resort (a super quick walk) which was so convenient. The boardwalk has a good amount of options if you’re looking to satisfy your hunger and grab a few drinks. We passed a couple restaurants and quick service locations with pizza, Mickey pretzels, ice cream , sandwiches, adult beverages etc. Ofcourse I went with a Mickey pretzel and Diet Coke. It had been way too long. After a seven hour drive, it was just what I needed.

The next morning we woke up and decided to make it a relaxing pool day. We got dressed and headed downstairs to Garden Grove which is located on the Swan side to indulge in a yummy breakfast. I ordered a bagel sandwich with potatoes on the side & Justin had the french toast which were both super amazing. With my pregnancy cravings, I definitely stole some of Justin’s plate to eat lol. Swan & Dolphin has over 15 food and beverage locations! Crazy right? We definitely needed an entire week to stay to eat everywhere on the resort site. Garden Grove (pre-covid) was a character breakfast dining option and to my knowledge it was super easy to get into without a wait! I’m hoping they bring it back soon so we can take our baby boy. After we ate breakfast, we walked back over to our side of the resort and stopped by the coffee shop downstairs called “fuel” to grab a couple lattes and get our caffeine intake for the day!

The rest of the day was relaxing. Swan and Dolphin has a mini beach with a lake and two pools to sit back relax and enjoy your day. It felt great to lay in the Florida sun and have a virgin pina colada with the hubby to end our stay! If you have any questions about our stay feel free to comment or message me on Instagram @trendykenziee.

xoxo,
