Transcending Waves : The Perfect Planner

Good morning guys!

I hope all of you are off to a great start so far to this week.  I am currently sipping my morning coffee and wondering how I got so blessed to be at the beach for the Summer for the second year in a row. I look forward to sharing so many of these beautiful moments with you in the next few months of my journey!

When I get unorganized it really seems like the end of the world. I start to lose focus and forget about things I need to do or have to do in a certain period of time. Once that happens I start to procrastinate on actually GETTING organized and you know the I can’t emphasize enough on how getting organized can save your life! I don’t know about you but it puts me in a better mood knowing exactly what I have to do for the day or getting in a healthy fitness routine just by writing things down.

A couple of weeks ago, right before my final exams, I started using my new transcending waves planner and completely fell in love with it. Not only does it have time slots for each day, it also has a place to put your goals and a nightly checklist after you complete your day. For me this is extremely helpful with my classes, workout routines, work schedules , etc. It can really benefit you in a variety of different ways. When I received this planner I was amazed at how writing your goals & to-do’s can influence your way of thinking or mood throughout the day.

Free People Rainbow Top

Top : Free People // Shorts: Dupe // Sunglasses: Amazon // Bag: Similar

Let’s start off this Tuesday by asking you guys a question. Did you know Starbucks has a “secret” menu item called The Pink Drink?! Well I didn’t until yesterday. I’ve seen so many bloggers drinking a pink drink from Starbucks and I finally googled it. Maybe a lot of you already know or maybe I am just out of the loop of Starbucks hidden drinks lol. It actually tastes really good. I am not sure what is exactly in it except the strawberry part. It does take a little getting used to at first but if you’re a wholeheartedly fruit person then hey props to you.

Anyways, I have been obsessing over this rainbow top by Free People. I saw it one day shopping and walked out without it.. silly me. A few days ago I went back and it was on SALE! I mean you guys should have seen how happy I was hahah. I found this top online for you guys and it is 40% off. I am wearing a size small if any of you feel the need to check it out! This top comes in four different colors and currently is stocked with all sizes!

So now for the bad news, I bought these cute shorts before Spring break when they were on sale at Red Dress Boutique so they are now sold out. BUT I have found a dupe for y’all right here. So not really bad news right?Yay! Now for these sunnies that I found for only $12 on AMAZON. Such great quality and I am loving how colorful the lenses are. Absolutely perfect for summer, don’t you agree?

Have an amazing Tuesday!

“Life is better with confetti”

Happy Monday lovely people! You are probably wondering why there is a a vast amount of confetti & why I have a cupcake in my hand. Well this weekend was a very exciting one for me because I have finally hit 2K on my Instagram : @trendykenziee . This might not be a lot right now but to me it’s everything. I started at the end of October last year and let me tell you.. blogging is actually really hard work. Two of the most important things I have learned through this process is to stay consistent and BE YOURSELF. Time is key and nothing will happen over-night. I’ve had to tell myself these words plenty of times when I have become discouraged. If you love to do something & you put your heart and soul into it you will see an AMAZING outcome. Slowly but surely.

Senior year of high school I retired the only hobby/sport I had ever known… Competitive Cheerleading. That was my life for 18 years and something I loved deeply. 7 days a week practices were the norm with the people I grew up with. Feeling that tingling anxious feeling before you hit the floor for 2 minutes and 30 seconds was one of the most crazy feelings I’ve ever felt. But when you hear them call your name for winning a National Championship & Worlds.. man… now that is one thing you will never forget and it’s hard to explain to others. Seeing your dream come true right in-front of your eyes, all that dedication and hard work you put into for all of those years finally paid off. I admit writing about this is even hard because I miss it so much and I’m not going to lie every time I go back and watch videos I actually cry because it was a part of me lol. My point from all that rambling is that blogging has become the next chapter of my life. I treat it just like I did when I was cheering competitvely for all those years. Stay consistent. Hit that milestone. Strive for that goal. Be yourself. If you don’t succeed the first time, try again.

I want to thank all of you guys for being so supportive as I continue this journey. Nothing makes me more happy than seeing my dream come true! Love all of you & btw these jammies are only $15 😉
